Affilliate Marketing Resources

While searching web and looking for online resources for affilliate or online business I have seen that every online marketer is selling their products under the umbrella of free products. It becomes a difficult for a new marketer to come in to this business and start. I started this blog to invite sincere and honest people to point out dependable and honest resources for all those who can use this media which should be helpful to them.

I shall appreciate all input and pointers which help others to earn some money with honest means.

The area which needs attention and help is

1-Identifiying right products to market.

b) Physical Products

2- Web development
3- Web Hosting

I will try my best to identify such resources and bring it to them through this blog.

Barbara in Oregon goes to your website and
spends 8 seconds seeing what you're
selling... then leaves.

50 cents divided by 8 seconds is
$225.00 per hour.

Barbara in Oregon's attention is pretty expensive,
wouldn't you say?

Attention is the most precious commodity in the
world today, and when you've got it, you'd better
use it effectively. Seconds are ticking by.

Mark Widawer, a senior member of my AdWords
Mastermind, wrote the book 'Landing Page Cash

focuses on that vitally important 5 to 30 seconds
after Barbara comes to your website.

Mark sez:

'Paypal is real money, but most people don't look
at it that way. They think about it as play money.
I know I do.

'Making a payment for something I want (but don't

(Adsense Secrets) and he agreed. But he described it
a bit more colorfully. 'Honey, I didn't really spend that

*Add Graphical Credibility to your Website

People naturally associate one good thing with another.
So let's use that fact to our own advantage to transfer
some of the credibility of your business associations to you.

Brick and mortar shops do this all the time, simply by
putting stickers in their window for MasterCard, Visa,
American Express and Discover card.

You can do the same by putting logos for these
organizations on your website. Not only will you appear
to be a more legitimate web store (after all, at least
your bank thinks you're legitimate), but some people
will only buy if you accept certain forms of payment.

And that's what the prior section was about, regarding Paypal.

(Mark's book has links to images like these, as well
as PHP and ASP scripts that implement other functions
he recommends adding to your site.)


*Autoresponder Strategies

On your website, you can offer a white paper, an ebook,
a multi-part course delivered via email (called mini-course),
or even a free registration for a teleseminar.

Put the signup form (called an 'opt-in form') on your website
near the top, well highlighted, and very clear.

Make an offer to your visitor for this free information. All he
has to do is enter his name and email address and they
will receive the information via email.

Then you spoon feed tips and recommendations
to them via your autoresponder, so that even if they
never read the book (they meant to but then the phone
rang...) they still get the benefit.

The Autoresponder sequence does these things for you:

-Demonstrates (not claims) that you are an expert
-Educates your prospect about your field
-Helps your prospect self-qualify herself
-Helps your prospect know, like, and trust you
-Encourages her to BUY your product

The nice part about this is that you can take all of
last year's newsletters, edit them a bit, load them
up in your autoresponder, and now entire marketing
funnels are automated for long periods of time. This
takes a lot of work off your hands!

I can't say enough good things about Mark's Landing
Page Cash Machine book. You can open it and
go through it, page by page, making incremental
improvements in 10-15 minute stints and get
real tangible growth in your sales by the very next day.

And most of the time when Mark gives you something
to do (like put a little piece of code on your page)
he gives you that piece of code or takes you to where
you can easily get it.

The first thing I noticed when I opened up the
first video was the stunning production quality.
He used Camtasia Studio for the production, which
is now the industry standard for creating
high-quality screen capture video products. The
audio is near studio quality, and the graphics
are very professional. These videos were made by
someone who KNOWS what he's doing. Well done!

I also liked how Michael divided the videos up by
section, and then again by sub-section. For
example, one video is all about the subject line,
and then there are different parts of that video
that each cover a certain area of crafting a
killer subject line.

VIDEO 1 - INTRODUCTION

This video served as an introduction to the whole
course. You get to see a picture of Michael in
his every day life, and he establishes his
credibility right up front by talking about some
of his massive successes online. He even provides
proof of credibility by displaying two checks in
the amount of $50,000 and $25,000 which prove
that, when it comes to the subject of making
money with email promos, he knows his stuff.

This is a good lesson for anyone to get. Whenever
you're teaching people how to do something, it's
good to establish your credibility up front, so
that there's no doubt about whether or not you're
qualified to talk about the subject. Most product
developers either skip or minimize this step.

VIDEO 2 - BEFORE YOU WRITE THE PROMO

This video talks about some things that no other
marketer has bothered to mention. You'll learn
things like:

* The mindset you need in order to write a killer
promo

* The different tools you need before you get
started

* How to keep your emails laser-focused

* How to create an outline that practically
writes the email for you.

This was a fantastic video, and did a good job of
kicking things off.

VIDEO 3 - THE SUBJECT LINE

I liked this video, because it talked about one
of MY biggest weaknesses when it comes to writing
email promos... the subject line. The subject
line is a confusing topic, because nobody's 100%
sure what the best tactics are.

Michael breaks it down, and reveals:

* The biggest secret for writing a subject line
that makes people insanely curious.

* Techniques for personalizing the subject line.

* Mistakes to avoid when using personalization.

I was surprised to find that I was making some of
the mistakes that Michael mentioned in this
video, but now I know better.

VIDEO 4 - THE OPENING

This is where a lot of people slack off when
writing their emails. Michael talks about how
important it is to create an opening that is
conversational, and then reveals techniques and
examples on how to do that.

He also reveals:

* How to get people to keep reading your email
once they've opened it.

* How to make your opening interesting.

* Mistakes to avoid when creating your first few
paragraphs.

VIDEO 5 - THE BODY COPY

This is one of the "meatiest" portions of the
course, because it reveals techniques that are
not widely discussed on the forums, blogs, and in
most eBooks. He talks about the importance of
keeping your body copy tight and relevant, and
then reveals how you can do that. You'll also
learn:

* How to write powerful bullets that make people
curious and want to find out more.

* Simple formatting tricks for making your body
copy easy to read.

* The secret of "bucket brigade copy" and how to
use it in your email promos to force people to
keep reading.

VIDEO 6 - THE CALL TO ACTION

This is where a lot of people wimp out in their
email promos. They start out strong, but when it
comes time to ask the reader to click the link
and take action, they don't know what to say.
Michael talks about some of his favorite
techniques for making that happen, and also

make your close much more powerful.

Some people say that the P.S. is one of the most

at the end. In this video, Michael talks about:

* The 4 different kinds of P.S.'s you can use
(this section was a real eye-opener for me).

VIDEO 8 - COMMON MISTAKES PEOPLE MAKE

I loved this video, because it showed me some
mistakes that I was making that I wasn't even
aware of. Unless you're a seasoned pro, you're
probably guilty of some of the things that
Michael talks about in this video as well, and
that's why it's so valuable. I've shaved years
off my learning curve, because now I can avoid
some of the costly mistakes that I was bound to
make in the learning process.

VIDEO 9 - HOW TO CREATE FOLLOW-UP EMAIL PROMOTIONS

This video alone is going to make me a lot of
money. Why? Because I used to only send out one
email promo for each affiliate promotion I was
doing. Michael showed me in this video how
important it is to send a follow-up promotion,
and he showed me exactly how to do it. He covered
things like:

* The psychology of follow-up email promo's.

* The 2 main types of follow-up promos that make
the most money.

* How to overcome readers' objections in your
follow up emails.

* The 2 most common mistakes people make when
writing follow-ups and how to avoid them.

VIDEO 10 - HOW TO WRITE BACK END EMAIL PROMOTIONS

Every marketing guru out there says that the REAL
money is on the back end. I'd have to agree with
them, but the problem is... most people have no
idea how to set up a back end system that makes
money. This video will teach you how to set up an
automated back end that's loaded with killer
promos that make you lots of cash on autopilot.
He reveals things like:

As most of my subscribers and customers will attest, I don't just recommend Internet marketing products to line my pockets.

It's very important to me that I provide you with objective reviews so that you can truly make the best decision for you and for your business.

Sure, I do make money selling Internet marketing products as an affiliate.

This week's review is on a Private Label Rights membership site called Automatic Niche Profits.

When I was first asked to take a look at this site I was frankly a bit weary...because there are so many Private Label Rights sites that I figured I was in for more of the same old same old.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a very clean "back office" members area. The products are very neatly organized and easy to locate.

I was even more pleasantly surprised when I took a look at product number one (I won't disclose the product name to protect the rights of current and future members).

The main product was digital...an ebook. That in and of itself is not extraordinary...but what is extraordinary was the quality.

You see, I read that ebook and I was incredibly impressed with the way it was written. If I were using this for myself I would have no problem putting my name on it and calling it my own.

But that was just the start.

I then took a look at the sales letter that was included in the product #1 package, and what to my surprise, I found it to be very persuasive and compelling.

Things were going a little too well, so I thought I would take a listen to the ebook audio's and watch the flash video that was included.

Again, incredibly...they were extremely well done and I would have no concerns whatsoever about putting my name to them.

Additionally, this is a facet to PLR that I have not found anywhere else. In all the PLR membership sites I’ve either been a member of, or received insider access to, this is the ONLY site that has offered cutting edge tools like audio and video.

The last component of this product package that I reviewed was the graphics. While copy is always more important than graphics when it comes to marketing online...you DO need high quality graphics if you want to make it very far.

Using a poor ebook cover or any other graphic is akin to asking for poor conversions.

So, I opened up each of the graphics files and I could not believe how incredible they were. I do not know who the designer is, but I would hire him/her in a heartbeat.

There were more pieces to this package, like articles, and a big long keyword report...but these are the pieces that I really wanted to see.

These are the cornerstones to profitable products. And these cornerstones were sharp...very sharp.

It appears that Automatic Niche Profits provides 2 product sets every month, all with the same bells and whistles as the first one I looked at...

So, I decided to keep nosing around to see if my experience was the same with this one. And, it was.

All high quality, cutting edge stuff.

Here’s a brief list of everything included with the membership every month...

1) 2 Professionally Written eBooks
2) 2 Audio/Video Packages
3) 400 Niche Articles
4) 2 Professionally Written Sales Pages And Download Pages
5) 2 Sets Of Customizable Graphics And Blog Design
6) 2 Keyword Reports

And you get 2 of these brand new niche product packages every month.

There is almost no downside to this membership. In fact, it looks as close to plug and play profits as possible. But, it might be priced a tad higher than some of the other sites, at $47 per month.

As I mentioned before there are a whole battalion of bad PLR membership sites out there today.

If I was paying less for a bad membership with low quality products it would’t do me any good because it would be harder to sell those products...in reality those are a waste of money.

One or two sales of any of the products included in Automatic Niche Profits would pay for the membership.

And frankly...if you’re incapable of one or two sales of this stuff, then you may want to reconsider this business as a whole.

That brings me to one other possible downside to this membership site. While they are providing top quality products and essentially handing you a turnkey business, you still need to sell those products in order to profit.

You’ll need to take action and put the marketing system into motion in order to make something of your business. Without that, you’re just spinning your wheels.

The bottom line is that Automatic Niche Profits is a 5 star membership site. The quality is unparalleled, and the cutting edge audio's and videos make selling these products a no-brainer in any market.

Many business owners and executives, professionals and even sales people have all sorts of mental hang-ups about asking for referrals. However, most of those hang-ups are invalid and I find that those who ask get!

Now here's a secret about customers or clients who refer that can be worth a great deal of money to you. Understand that the person who refers once can and will refer many more people, many more times if motivated to do so. Once a customer or client has referred someone to your business than that source of referral should be worked like the goldmine that it is.

You should know that massive research by major to consumer direct sales companies and organizations indicates that the average person has an immediate circle of influence of fifty-two. Fifty-two other people. The typical executive, for example, knows about fifty other people at a similar executive level in his own or closely related industries. This number tells you that each customer or client who comes through your business could bring you as many as fifty other customers or clients.

You should also know that research by the American Management Association indicates that the average satisfied customer only tells three other people about the satisfactory experience. Moving that person from telling three to telling fifty does require some definite action on your part. That action needs to focus on the giving of recognition and appreciation.

When a satisfied customer sends someone to you the sender should immediately receive some recognition and appreciation. Possibly a quick thank you note or telephone call at bare minimum. That should happen right away. Subsequently some type of thank you gift is usually appropriate and effective.

We send steaks, books, clocks, calculators, small electronic items, knife sets, all sorts of things. I recommend gifts that you do not ordinarily sell and a different gift each time the person refers. You will really be amazed at the positive results from this kind of action.

You'd also be surprised, incidentally, at the negative results of not doing this. The client who refers once and fails to get recognition and appreciation will probably never say anything to you, but to himself and often to a friend or associate he does say, "Can you believe it? I sent that guy a customer and never got as much as a thank you." And then he never refers again.

Again it's interesting to note that a basic success principle often discussed in personal development context is also a marketing strategy. It's called the, "Attitude of Gratitude."

Finally, if you want to even more directly stimulate referrals from your customers or clients you might want to consider the second party gift certificate idea. Here's how this works:

You're a satisfied regular customer of a clothing store. The owner of the store says to you, "John as you know, most of our customers come as referrals from other customers and we appreciate that and try to encourage it. This month we're doing something interesting that you might want to help us with and be able to do a favor for your friends too. "The store owner then gives you a ten dollar gift certificate negotiable only by a second party that you, the customer, addresses to and sign it over to. This idea works extremely well for just about any kind of retail business, service business, home products business, restaurants, stores, beauty parlors, carpet cleaning companies and so on.

If you'll use this idea, you'll again want to follow it up with recognition and appreciation to the customer who does pass along a coupon that is ultimately redeemed by a new customer.
